CEMA_Logo.jpgWe’re proud to announce that our very own Jennifer and Ralph Carlo received this year’s CEMA Marketer of the Year Award for their dedication to the Low Income Energy Assistance Program.

Last year, Tracey Energy (among other energy marketers) participated in the Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP) as vendors, believing they would receive compensation within 30 days as per the terms of their agreement with the program. After six months, the social service agency administering the program still owed $200,000 to 40 marketers for deliveries made earlier that year. Jennifer, Ralph, and other marketers pushed and fought through countless meetings to resolve the issue on behalf of the energy marketers who were owed, including their competitors. Eventually, in November of last year, all of the money was paid.
