Annual Tune Ups

As part of the annual-tune included in the Bronze, Silver and Gold Comfortmaster Service Plans, our experts take the following steps:

• Vacuum clean the heating unit, smoke pipe and chimney base, if accessible and as needed
• Conduct tests to restore system to peak performance
• Adjust burner for maximum efficiency
• Clean and adjust electrodes and nozzle assembly
• Lubricate all motors, bearings, fans and circulators
• Replace nozzle and heating oil filter
• Test and adjust all safety and operating controls
• Inspect flue pipe, barometric damper and combustion chamber
• Test heating oil pump operation
• Inform customer of equipment condition via written report

For the Comfortmaster Gas Service Plan and Premium Gas Service Plan, our annual tune-up and safety inspection:

• Provides for safe operation by adjusting carbon monoxide levels
• Creates maximum efficiency by adjusting burner
• Extends equipment lifespan through annual maintenance process

For the Comfortmaster Cool Air Conditioning Service Plan annual tune-up and safety inspection, we:

• Check for adequate refrigerant charge and possible leaks
• Check voltage and amperage
• Lubricate all moving parts
• Check condenser coil, belts, filters, wiring and connections
• Check air temperature drop and condensate drain
