Turning the Corner

It was a strange winter for Connecticut, and especially for those of us in the lower half of the state. I don’t know about you, but I brought out my snow shovel once and kept watching the weather report for the “big one” that I was sure would come at some point. Nope.

Heating oil prices continued to bounce around as our international landscape remained volatile. But we made it through and have officially stepped into Spring 2023. The flowers are coming up and the buds are on the trees – one of my favorite times of the year. It’s also a time when those of us in the heating oil business take a breath, regroup, and get ready for air conditioning season. Luckily, at Tracey Energy, we have a great HVAC team that is already jumping into annual inspections and installation consultations. If you haven’t already, you’ll want to call and get onto their schedule.

You’ll see the Tracey Oil truck making its way to your house for spring fill-ups. It’s important to keep your tank full over the summer to ensure condensation doesn’t build up in your tank and cause corrosion. You’ll also be ready for next fall when our temps head in the other direction. But let’s not think about that yet and get ready to enjoy some sun!
