Tracey Energy will close from 1pm Wednesday, Nov. 23 through 8 am Friday, Nov. 25 to celebrate Thanksgiving. Emergency service remains in place.

Here at Tracey Energy, that’s not who we are, and we know many of you are committed to the importance of small, family businesses as the backbones of our towns. So along with Black Friday “deals”, get out for Small Business Saturday and show your local shops some love! Even a small purchase can mean a lot to them and that’s where you’ll find those unique gifts. Also, remember to mark your calendar for Giving Tuesday. If your family has been blessed, perhaps you can share a little bit with a nonprofit and help them make a difference in the world. We will be coordinating our yearly donation to the Yale-New Haven Toy Closet and appreciate your support. Share Your Holiday Tradition

Stuffing. For the Tracey-Carlo family, it’s all about the stuffing. Ralph’s mom used to put black olives in hers and now Ralph does the same. For Jen, it's all about decorating and finding the perfect gift. And our daughter – who will be home for both Thanksgiving and Christmas (that hasn’t happened in a while) – will only eat her cousin’s famous mashed potatoes! “We are responding to an email we received regarding our recent service. We are very pleased with our annual furnace cleaning done recently. We had requested David because he had solved a previous problem for us in the past. We find him to be reliable, thorough, neat and very personable. When he didn’t have the pad to replace in our humidifier at the time of service, he went and got one and returned a little while later to install it for us. That’s service!  We have been happy with Tracey service for over 40 years. Keep up the good work!"

Fuel Assistance Is Available


While we continue to do all we can to manage your heating oil costs, we recognize current fuel costs will be a burden for lower-income families and those facing financial difficulties. Connecticut’s Operation Fuel may be able to help. Operation Fuel provides emergency utility and energy assistance. According to their website, you’ll need to provide proof of income for the last four weeks and the name of your fuel vendor. 


According to their site, “Operation Fuel serves households whose income does not exceed 75% of the State Median Income Guidelines, which include, but are not limited to, the elderly, disabled, working families, or individuals facing a financial crisis.”
